On Saturday evening September 19th The Shamrock Club Pipes and Drums will be greeting a returning Honor Flight at Port Columbus International Airport.

Honor Flight Network is a non-profit organization created solely to honor America’s veterans for all their sacrifices. They transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill

The Columbus Honor Flight has an estimated arrival time of 9:45PM on September 19th. Returning on this Honor Flight is Shamrock Club Past President Joe Byrne. The Pipes and Drums will be there to welcome Joe and the other WWII Veterans home.

All Shamrock Club members are invited to come out with the Pipes and Drums to meet that flight and welcome our veterans home.
